Robert Haynie, CTC, President

Bob Haynie grew up in the family travel business. His love of travel and desire to carry on the business his grandmother founded in 1938 led him to join Haynie Travel full-time in 1979. He became sole owner of Haynie Travel in 2001. His worldwide travels have included most of Western Europe, India, Nepal, Morocco, Russia, Australia and Tasmania, Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Hawaii, South Africa, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Kristen Haynie

From family vacations to Florida and around the U.S. as a youngster to flying Business Class to South Africa for a 2-week tour with all the bells and whistles, Kristen Haynie has been fortunate to have been traveling all of her life.

As the wife of owner Bob Haynie, she has seen the past decade bring many changes to the travel industry, and she has learned to navigate well in the environment of travel planning technology.

Kathy Moore, Executive Vice President

Kathy Moore has extensive knowledge of the travel business which she has learned "from the ground up"! Her 40 years of experience have taken her to a variety of destinations, including Europe, Africa, South America, Israel, Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean and throughout the US., including Alaska and Hawaii. On top of planning hundreds of tours and cruises over the years she has planned many very special honeymoons and destination weddings. Karen Timberlake, Travel Consultant

Karen began her career in the travel industry in 1984 as a receptionist for a local travel agency and moved into a management position three years later. Although Karen has a vast knowledge of domestic cities, she really enjoys sending her clients to exciting international destinations, and her specialty is customizing unforgettable trips that are off the beaten path.

Karen has traveled across the United States and to many international destinations. She has visited numerous Caribbean Islands, most of Western Europe, Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and her favorite destination in the world; South Africa. She has experienced numerous cruises, including Caribbean, Amazon, Scandinavian, and Mediterranean.
